Stainless steel juice spiral + digital thermometer
-
The stainless steel juice spiral is the ideal device for preserving fruit juices (for example, freshly pressed apple juice).
• rapid and short-term warming – vitamins and flavours are preserved
• big heat exchange surface – gently
• easy to clean – large diameter
• also suitable for cooling during settling (in combination with juice clear)
The juice spiral is placed in a water bath (preferably a 50 lt stainless steel barrel or a boiling pot), and the water is heated by a heat source, for example, a gas burner, to boil. The fruit juice flows under its own pressure from a container located at a higher level through the juice spiral and is at the same time continuously heated to the desired temperature (approx. 78 – 80 °C). On the outlet side of the juice spiral is our regulating pinchcock. With this tap, it is possible to regulate the flow rate continuously and thus adjust the juice temperature exactly. Opening the tap causes the flow rate to increase, thus reducing the juice temperature at the outlet. Closing the tap causes the flow rate to decrease, thus increasing the temperature of the juice. The temperature display on the electronic digital thermometer is located directly on the filling tap and thus shows the exact filling temperature.
