Raised bed “flori” made of larch wood. The raised bed has many advantages: it can be planted comfortably while standing and the vegetables can be easily protected from snails. The good yield of the raised beds is mainly based on the lower layers, which consist of the waste of the garden, branches and foliage. In the freshly filled raised bed, the decomposition processes generate heat and increase the soil temperature by up to five to eight degrees Celsius. The plants grow better and the garden season lasts longer in autumn. On the other hand, many nutrients are released during rotting.
